The Salinas Police Department accepts non-emergency crime reports "On-Line".
If you are the victim of a crime that occurred within the city limits of Salinas, you can submit your initial report here for follow-up by a member of our department. This form should only be used for non-emergency, non-urgent type reports. If you wish to report an emergency or urgent incident, please call 9-1-1.
Please fill in the form as completely as possible so that we may begin investigating your report. To navigate through the report form fields below, use your mouse to click in the individual fields and type in the required information. Using the tab key on your keyboard will also move your cursor from one field to the next. Please do not use the enter or return key on your keyboard to move between the different fields as pressing the enter or return key will cause the form to be submitted prematurely.
When you submit an online crime report, it is automatically E-mailed to the Salinas Police Department. E-mails and online reports are collected and distributed throughout the day, Monday - Thursday, 7:30 A.M. to 5:30 P.M. (holidays excluded). Once your report has been received, a member of the Salinas Police Department will contact you as soon as possible to follow-up on the information provided. If you require a more immediate response, please call (831) 758-7090 or come by the front desk of the Salinas Police Department located at 222 Lincoln Ave. Salinas, CA 93901.
