Officer Jesus Sanchez joined the police department in 1998. In that time, he worked 3 1/2 years in patrol. He is currently the School Resource Officer at Alisal High School. In his time off, he coaches the Alisal High School soccer team and also plays in the Salinas Adult League. He attended Fresno State University and earned a Bachelor's degree in Criminology. Officer Sanchez is happily married with 3 daughters.

Officer Adolfo Lopez was hired by the Salinas Police Department in 2000. He worked the first three years in patrol and is currently a School Resource Officer assigned to Salinas High School. Advice that Officer Lopez wishes to give to students is never give up on your goals in life. Thomas Jefferson once said, "I find that the harder I work, the more luck I seem to have."

On his time off, Officer Lopez enjoys spending time with his family and playing sports.

Officer Miguel Cabrera is in his third year as a School Resource Officer at Harden, Washington, and El Sausal Middle Schools. Officer Cabrera enjoys teaching G.R.E.A.T. and challenges students to set goals, make good decisions, and respect others.

Officer Dave Yates started his law enforcement career in 1991 working for the Monterey County Sheriff's Department. In 1994 he was hired by the Salinas Police Department and worked patrol for two and half years. He was then assigned to the School Resource Unit where he has worked on and off for the past nine years. He considers this assignment the most rewarding of his career. In his free time he enjoys riding his motorcycle, working with his computer, and traveling the world.

Officer Ciro Barboza joined the Salinas Police Department in 2004 and has worked patrol for two years. He is currently the School Resource Officer for Everett Alvarez High School. Officer Barboza finds his assignment rewarding. In his free time he likes to play sports and travel.
