WANTED FOR Attempted Homicide

Hector Carmen Chavez


CONSIDER ARMED AND EXTREMELY DANGEROUS.  TAKE NO ACTION TO APPREHEND THIS PERSON YOURSELF. REPORT ANY INFORMATION TO THE SALINAS POLICE DEPARTMENT.

 

On 1/04/05 at approximately 7:00 p.m. Salinas Police Department was called to the Northridge Mall regarding a shooting which had occurred at that location. When officers arrived it was determined that suspect Hector Carmen Chavez had shot four people and had fled.

Chavez is a known Sureno gang member and is known to possess firearms. Chavez is still at large and is considered armed and dangerous.
