Two Hispanic male adults, both armed with handguns and faces covered with black bandanas entered the store. One suspect confronted the manager and demanded money from the register. The second suspect controlled the very few customers that were present. The suspects received an undetermined amount of cash and fled Southbound toward McGowan St. They were in the store for a total of one minute. The incident was captured on security cameras and officers are working on developing suspect indentities.

No. The Salinas Municipal Code  prohibits any fowl or livestock to be kept as pets. This includes pigs, goats, sheep, chickens, ducks, etc. Roosters are especially bothersome because of the noise they create and the fact they are sometimes used for cockfights and gambling.
