Location: 1400 block of Parsons Avenue

A 19 year old male dropped two friends off in the 1400 block of Parsons Ave. and drove southbound towards Rainier Drive.  It appears that two suspects open fired with handguns on his vehicle.  He accelerated to drive out of the area but lost control and struck a parked vehicle.  The victim sustained injury from gunshot wounds.  He was transported to a local hosptial for treatment.  He is listed in stable condition.

No. The Salinas Municipal Code  prohibits any fowl or livestock to be kept as pets. This includes pigs, goats, sheep, chickens, ducks, etc. Roosters are especially bothersome because of the noise they create and the fact they are sometimes used for cockfights and gambling.
