Salinas Police Officers were dispatched to Natividad Medical Center for the report of a victim with a gunshot wound to the head. The victim told police that he was getting out of his vehicle when he was shot and robbed. He described one suspect as a black male, 20-25 years old 5'6” with a thin build wearing all dark clothing and a blue beanie. He could not identify the second.  The suspects took a small amount of cash and at one point shot the victim. The bullet grazed the side of his head and the injury is not considered life threatening. This does not appear to be a random act of violence. It does appear to be drug and/or gang related. Investigation is continuing.
