Officers responded to an attempted homicide call in the area of the El Dorado Motel. The investigation revealed the victim was standing near the El Dorado Motel in the 1300 block of N. Main St. when an occupant of a charcoal grey Mitsubishi Gallant, parked nearby, pointed a handgun at the female victim. At least one round was fired in the victim's direction. The female victim was not struck but was narrowly missed. Officers were continuing to work the initial call when other officers located a Gallant type vehicle matching in description.
