Location: Under 100 block of Kentucky St.

A 34 year old male was riding his bicycle in the under 100 block of Kentuckuy St. when someone from a passing vehicle fired several shots at him.  The victim was struck once on the leg and was transported to a local hospital for treatment to his injuries, which were not life-threatening.  The vehicle was described as a gray Nissan Altima with tinted windows. This incident is considered to be gang-related.

The Salinas Municipal Code  contains noise ordinances that regulate certain kinds of noise.

Generally, noise is divided into four "classes".
