Incident: Brandishing a Weapon, Resisting Arrest, Violation of Protective Order

Officers responded to a call of an individual violating a protective order in the 18800 block of Eisenhower Dr. and trying to gain entry into the residence. The suspect, identified as Donald Breeden (52), was already wanted on previous violations of the protective order and he left prior to officers arriving. As officers spoke with the reporting party, Breeden called the victim from a nearby business on San Juan Grade Rd, where the officers responded and located Breeden inside his truck.
Officers ordered Breeden to exit his vehicle and he eventually did but he exited the truck holding a knife brandishing it towards officers. Breeden initially refused to drop the knife and follow the officers orders. Breeden was tased and subsequently taken into custody.
After a jail check at the hospital for his minor injuries, he was transported to county jail where he was booked on the listed charges.
