Location: Oregon Ave. and N. Sanborn Rd. to Natividad Rd.
Officers attempted to effect a vehicle stop for traffic violations in the area of Oregon and N. Sanborn Rd. The vehicle refused to yield and a vehicle pursuit ensued, ending on Natividad Rd. A high risk stop was conducted and the driver, Javier Lopez Benitez (26) , was taken into custody without incident. Benitez was found to have an outstanding felony warrant for his arrest. In addition, Benitez was found in possession of counterfeit currency and he is also on probation.
Benitez was transported to county jail and booked on the listed charges.
