On Saturday, February 7th at approximately 8:10 pm Salinas Police responded to 1036 N. Sanborn Rd on a report of a victim of a shooting. On arrival they found Eric Jacobo (21) suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Officers attempted CPR, however Jacobo died at the scene.  There is no suspect information at this time, and this incident is being investigated as gang related.

Salinas Police Detectives are looking for witnesses or anyone who may information regarding this incident. The Salinas Municipal Code  contains noise ordinances that regulate certain kinds of noise.

Generally, noise is divided into four "classes".

• Class A Noise is defined as noise created by equipment operated in the public interest or for emergency or safety purposes. Such equipment includes sirens, street sweepers, garbage trucks, chipper machines, etc. Class A noise is allowed at anytime.
