Location: 300 block of Hampton Ave.

Officers responded to another call of an interrupted residential burglary in the 300 block of Hampton Ave. The victim (58) was in her residence when she heard a knock on the front door. As she looked out the peephole, she saw an unknown male standing at the front porch. She did not answer the door but she observed a red pickup truck in her driveway with a second suspect on board. Both suspects started to pry the front door as the victim was calling police. The victim exited to the backyard of her house as she spoke with the 911 operator.

The suspects went upstairs and saw the victim in the back yard and ran down and out of the residence carrying away a purse and lap top computer in the process. Officers arrived and conducted an area check for the suspect vehicle but were unable to locate it.

The suspects were described as Hispanic males in their late twenties. One was about 5'10", 200 lbs and wearing a black shirt under a plaid shirt. The second suspect was approximately 5'6", 160 lbs. with black hair. The suspect vehicle was a red 2000 single cab pick up truck.
