Online Reports

Crime & Incident Report

If you are the victim of a crime that occurred within the city limits of Salinas, you can submit your initial report here for follow-up by a member of our department. This form should only be used for non-emergency, non-urgent type reports. If you wish to report an emergency or urgent incident, please call 9-1-1.

When you submit an online crime report, it is automatically e-mailed to the Salinas Police Department. E-mails and online reports are collected and distributed throughout the day,
Monday - Thursday, 7:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. (holidays excluded). Once your report has been received,  a member of the Salinas Police Department will contact you as soon as possible to follow-up on the information provided. Please fill in the form as completely as possible so that
we may begin investigating your report. If you require a more immediate response, please call (831) 758-7090 or visit the Police Department at 222 Lincoln Ave., Salinas, CA 93901.
