Attempted Murder

Salinas Police Officers responded to the above location on a ShotSpotter activation of multiple gunshots being fired. When officers arrived they located two Hispanic male victims that sustained multiple gunshot wounds. Both were transported to a local area hospital for treatment.  The two victims were standing outside a residence when a 4-door sedan drove up and fired multiple rounds at them.  The victims sustained critical injuries but are listed in stable condition.

The Salinas Municipal Code  contains noise ordinances that regulate certain kinds of noise.

Generally, noise is divided into four "classes".
