Attempted Murder

At 3:38 am the Salinas Police Department responded to  report of a fight in the 2000 block of Santa Rita. As officer were responding they were advised that there was now a victim of a shooting at that location. When officers arrived, they found a 45 year old male with a gunshot would to his shoulder in the roadway.  The victim was transported to the hospital and the wound was determined to be non life threatening. Officers conducted and extensive area check for a suspect. The investigation is ongoing.

Generally, noise is divided into four "classes".
