On December 21, 2019, at approximately 9:40 AM, Salinas Police Officers responded to the 400 block of Lincoln Avenue on a report of a victim of a stabbing. When the officers arrived they found the 59- year old victim suffering from multiple stab wounds. The victim was transported to a local hospital where he is currently listed in critical condition.  Witnessses describe seeing a male walking from the area wearing a dark colored jacket and blue jeans. He was last seen walking westbound on Clay St., and is believed to be a person of interest in this assault.
