On 1/19/19, at 3:55 AM, the Salinas Police Department responded to an alarm call on the 1200 block of S. Main St which resulted in an officer involved shooting.  No officers were injuried as a result of the incident which is still in the early stages of the investigation.

The District Attorney's office is conducting the investigation concerning the shooting.
