5 students were standing in the student parking lot when a black colored Chrysler 300 pulled up next to them.  The driver, a Hispanic male, mid 20's with a thin moustache yelled at the group.  The suspect removed what appeared to be a chrome semi-auto handgun from his waistband. Incident: Armed Robbery / Attempted Armed Robbery Business - Attempted Murder - Shooting

Report #: 15-020796 and 15-020800

Date: Tuesday, 2/17/2015

Time: 8:13 AM

Location: 8 Williams Road - Star 1 Gas & El Kiosko

A Hispanic Male, late 20's, wearing black hooded jacket and a bandana covering his face and blue jeans entered the businesses with a chrome colored handgun.  There are two businesses at this location.  The suspect entered and robbed the clerk from the gas station and after obtaining an undetermined amount of money confronted the clerk at the taqueria.  The 33 year old male victim (clerk) at the taqueria was preparing food at the time.  The suspect demanded that he opened the register.  Unable to do so, it appears that the suspect intentionally fired one round at the victim striking him on the top of his head.  The victim was treated for a non-life threatening gun shot wound at a local hospital.  It is possible that a witness to the robbery chased the suspect and possibly struck him with his vehicle.  The suspect may have been injured as a result and may be limping.  If you have any information regarding this case please contact Officer Jacky Bohn at 831-758-7161 or 831-775-4201 extension 6405.
