It was later determined that the suspect, Treyshaun Holmes (18) had entered the back yard of a home to hide from police and he discovered that he back door to the house was unlocked. Holmes entered the home while officers were searching for him and burglarized the house. The family that resides in that house were inside and sleeping while Holmes was inside.
Approximately 30 minutes later, callers began reporting that a suspect matching Holmes' description was walking in the area of Marion Dr. with his pants down, exposing himself. The school was immediately locked down as the search continued. Holmes was eventually captured in the back yard of a house on Clay St. and the school lockdown was lifted after about 15 minutes. Holmes was still in possession of the property he had stolen from the house on Central Ave. The victims from Central Ave were unaware their home had been burglarized and identified all their property, which was returned to them.
